Anome No More
By AquatiumAnome has been raining chaos in the
MegaCity for a long time. With his band of self-titled
"Unlimits," they were killing redpills and bluepills
without remorse and with a hatred we can only imagine.
A lot has happened because of Anome, and many actions
were taken by him and redpills alike. As the Unlimits
were slowly but surely being terminated by the redpills,
he was starting to get desperate; seeking help from
other powerful exiles in the Matrix, but to no avail.
His plan to infiltrate Pendhurst-Amarath and kill the
bluepills through poisoning water and food supplies had
failed. Even his kidnapping of Brenda Utley was brought
to a swift resolution. Anome was getting crazier by the
day--he was even seen killing some of his own followers
who didn't agree with his decisions.
As we have seen in the past, various redpills in the
City were aligned with one purpose: to remove Anome’s
threat in the Matrix; even the machines were determined
to remove him quickly. Previous attempts were made to
kill Anome, but all were unsuccessful. The only way to
successfully remove Anome was to extract code from his
body and build the correct bullets, which would delete
him and end his terrorism. A Machine operative was sent
to Anome, and a code sample was retrieved successfully.
The kill-code bullets, designed for Anome, were then
created.
The Machines wanted to take care of Anome, so they
devised a cunning plan to use against him. One has to be
aware that Anome had a troubled childhood--a disturbing
one, to say the least. It all connects back to his
parents--in particular, his mother--which would be his
undoing. The machines made their way to Anome’s location
where he was still terrorizing bluepills. An Agent took
the disguise of Anome's bluepill mother and walked
towards Anome. The crazed Anome got even more deranged
and distracted, giving the disguised agent a chance to
fire the kill-code bullets and terminate Anome, who then
fell to his death.
The operation was successful; Anome’s threat in the
Matrix was now over. The remaining Unlimits had reached
their limit, and were being tracked down and killed. Is
this the end of this episode of chaos? Only time will
tell.

Editor's Message
By Aquatium
Hmm, where to begin? Well firstly -- Yes, it has been a
few months since our last issue. The MegaCity has kept
us all quite busy, and maintenance repairs in the Real
have held a few things back. While not all the staff
could make it to the offices to work on this issue, I
would like to thank those that did. To the other
editors, journalists, photographers, and our
proofreaders: all your work is greatly appreciated by
myself, as I'm sure it is by the readers. |

The Hero of Mankind Returns?
By RemagDiv

Neo's RSI - Tseng - MegaCity
Times
Recently, redpills experienced a subtle change in the
code while operating inside the Matrix. As more
operatives became aware of this change, questions arose;
some with intrigue, others with some tension. Once
operators picked up the code signal, they traced it to
Westview, where it was then narrowed down to the Gracy
Heights neighbourhood. With further cracking, one
operator was able to pinpoint the exact location of the
source, which was being held at a local Redpill fight
club at coordinates -913, -6, -1644.
As operatives arrived on the scene, many could not
believe their eyes. Neo's partially assembled RSI was
hovering in the basement of the fight club, as if
purposefully placed there. As word spread, more
operatives began to gather, cautious of attracting any
bluepills in the area. At one point, a Zionite confirmed
that it was the same assembled RSI that the once great
Morpheus was showing to certain operatives before his
demise at the hands of the Assassin some months ago.
Questions arose, and everyone wanted answers. The
Machines promptly briefed the operatives, as to not
cause a strain on the system and the nearby bluepills.
The Machines placed Neo's partially assembled RSI for
edification of their Redpill operatives. A remote
location was chosen so as to cause minimal disturbance
in the lives of those plugged in to the simulation.
Since then, the excitement and commotion has died down.
Many still consider the Machine's explanation only part
of what is really going on. But for now, the saviour of
man and machine lay dormant in this remote, barren
location for those who wish to pay respects; however
many still have hope that this chapter is not yet
complete.

News Briefs
By Aquatium
A new line of clothing was introduced into the MegaCity
after much protesting from operatives. These new pieces
are expected to bring a new level of style and
sophistication that many agree have been lacking.
While it has been snowing heavily at times in the
MegaCity, it's no surprise that reports of "special"
snowflakes have been found. At this time, it is unknown
what they do; however, we've been told that there are a
few Snowflake-loving females near each club entrance
that may have some answers for you.
This winter season, the new trend in MegaCity isn't
about who has the newest Virtual Simulation device;
instead, operatives have been seen carrying
around--snowmen. While this new phenomenon seems rather
strange and impractical, it appears that there is a
valid reason for freezing your pockets. Certain snowmen
have different "features" depending on where you are in
the MegaCity--it must be something in the air. Although,
reports indicate that these snowmen also have tracking
beacons hidden inside. |
